DuVall’s School of Cosmetology provides students with a combination of classroom and hands-on training that fosters both of these career goals.
New Career in Cosmetology, Esthetics or Instructor of Cosmetology or Esthetics
We are a family-owned school dedicated to quality education and a vision for improvement of the cosmetology industry.
Throughout the school curriculum and culture are woven the tools and knowledge that the three owners found helpful as they developed their individual careers. Continuous learning and adapting to the change in trends spanning four decades motivated these businesswomen to invest their energies into providing an institution for others to learn, be inspired, and prepare for a profession in the beauty industry.
THREE STAGE PROGRAMS
You will progress through the 3 stages of the program, Discovery, Skills, and Creative, in preparation to be salon or spa ready. Throughout all three stages, students prepare for state board testing and also compile a portfolio designed to appeal to future employers as well as clients.
1. DISCOVER
Discovery students explore the underlying theory and the techniques for performing basic client services.
2. SKILLS
Skills students develop and customize their skills to meet the needs of clients during their careers.
3. CREATIVE
In this stage students focus on developing the creative skills necessary for success in the work place.

DuVall’s School of Cosmetology is dedicated to providing students with an enriched learning environment that empowers them to discover their passion for beauty and develop the professional and business skills needed to succeed in the creative world of cosmetology arts and sciences; providing a quality education so the graduate is able to enter into a new career in Cosmetology or Esthetics.
